Business Development Manager - OTE £120,000

About the Role

This is not your average business development role — it’s a fast-paced, hands-on sales role where you’ll spend your time out in the field, winning new business, and driving revenue growth. You’ll have the power to shape the future of Brighton i360’s corporate and group offering, building a strong pipeline of clients from corporates, event planners, travel groups, and private parties.

  1. A Proven Sales Machine: You have a solid background in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  2. Target Obsessed: You don’t just hit targets — you crush them. You’re driven by results and thrive under pressure.
  3. Natural Closer: You know how to sell value, overcome objections, and close deals confidently.
  4. Relationship Builder: You’re a master at building strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel trade, and event planners.
  5. Proactive and Hungry: You don’t wait for leads — you go out and create them. Cold calls, networking events, and site visits are your playground.
  6. Strategic Thinker: You understand how to position Brighton i360 as a high-value venue for corporate events and group experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Break the mould: Relentlessly pursue new business opportunities through outbound sales, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  2. Close Deals: Turn leads into revenue by securing corporate bookings, large group events, and private hire opportunities.
  3. Own the Pipeline: Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
  4. Maximise Revenue: Identify opportunities for upselling, bespoke packages, and repeat business.
  5. Be the Face of Brighton i360: Get out there — attend networking events, host client visits, and make sure Brighton i360 is top-of-mind for corporate events and group bookings.
