About the role:
They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in demolition projects and develop your career in quantity surveying. You will support the commercial team in managing costs, contracts, and project documentation.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and reviewing project budgets, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
Monitor project costs and progress, identifying any variances and reporting them to the Quantity Surveyor.
Support the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
Assist with procurement, including obtaining subcontractor quotations and negotiating terms.
Maintain accurate project records, including measurement and valuation of work.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Collaborate with site teams and clients to resolve any commercial issues.

About the requirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior experience in construction, preferably within demolition, is an advantage.
Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
