Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

The All Age Disability Service are looking for an admin assistant to join the team. We are a hardworking but happy professional team providing care and support to families across Wirral.

Working as part of the team you will undertake a range of clerical tasks, including processing of referrals, scanning/photocopying and uploading documents to electronic records, answering telephone calls and forwarding/redirecting calls, arranging meetings, and taking meeting notes.

Within this role you will have contact with service users, carers, families, and other health professionals. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible 'can do' approach, and a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.

This vacancy is full time, 37.5 hours (Days to work Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00)

Main duties of the job

To undertake a full range of administrative responsibilities. To attend meetings and take meeting notes. Managing petty cash. Good communication skills are essential as the post holder will need to liaise directly with patients, carers, families, and other professionals. A working knowledge of general office procedures and Microsoft packages is required, but full training will be provided on CWP systems.

Qualifications
  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent
  • Educated to an appropriate standard of English Language to undertake the job role
  • ECDL
Knowledge and Expertise
  • Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft office applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
