About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a freelance basis. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative assistance to our clients, ensuring their administrative processes are efficient and effective. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the UK.
Main Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Manage and organize schedules, appointments, and meetings
- Respond to inquiries and correspondence from clients and team members
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Maintain and update databases and records
- Assist with project coordination and tracking
- Implement office procedures and systems to enhance efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
- Support the team in other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Administrative Support Specialist, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)—This can be arranged at point of job offer.
- Freelancer Professional Indemnity Insurance—This can be arranged at point of job offer.
- Proficiency in project management platforms and AI-powered tools
- Familiar with new software and methodologies disrupting traditional administrative roles.
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or finance is a plus but not essential.
