By joining our Xweather team, you will work on projects where accuracy, precision, and reliability are crucial, making a tangible difference in the renewable energy landscape.
Your role will involve optimizing large-scale datasets, developing scientific data pipelines, and building scalable APIs to support cutting-edge renewable energy applications.
Reporting to the Head of R&D, your main missions will be to:
What are you going to bring?
Minimum master’s degree in Engineering School or University in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience with a track record of building and maintaining scalable backend systems within an international and industrial environment.
Technical knowledge and skills :
- Proficiency in backend programming languages, such as Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Go.
- Leveraging Pandas and other data manipulation tools for efficient computation.
- Hands-on experience with API development using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services like Lambda and ECS for serverless and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker.
Interpersonal skills :
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and adaptability in cross-cultural, multi-time-zone environments.
- Fluent in English, with clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. French will be a plus.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with an understanding of iterative development and team collaboration.
- Analytical mindset, capable of breaking down complex problems and designing efficient solutions.
