Data Scientist à United States

We are looking for a brilliant, dynamic and experienced RAG / LLMs Data Scientist h / f to join our Multi-INT Assets Development team in Elancourt. He / she will be integrated in a group gathering scientists, artificial intelligence experts and data engineers who daily bridge the gap between R&T and R&D in the domain of Intelligence analytics for external customer as well as internal Airbus products.

The RAG / LLMs Data Scientist will contribute to the following activities:

1. Track, develop, maintain and communicate a state-of-the-art expertise (scientific and technical) on artificial intelligence technologies applied to automatic or assisted extraction and management of information from visual, textual and audio sources in a big data context.
2. Ensure handover of upstream technologies to portfolio products and development teams and directly participate to their integration through software developments in the perimeter of backend micro-services and / or frontend interactions with users.
3. Help to define the strategy and guidelines on RAG / LLMs topic on multiple domains (Multi-Intelligence, Command & Control and Air Superiority).
4. Lead the reuse topic of RAG / LLMs approaches as a future technical lead.
5. Foster innovation on multisource analytics by actively participating to customer and cofounded projects in a context of agile software development, key assets packaging and reusing and data governance rules enforcement.

We are looking for a curious, autonomous, communicating and intrapreneur profile mastering the following skills with first experiences:

1. Artificial intelligence technologies applied to Data Fusion and / or NLP and / or computer vision - Master Degree or Engineer school level.
2. 2 years of professional experience in R&T / R&D department in AI on Deep Learning and RAG / LLMs approaches.
3. Associated data science software development competencies (Python, Deep Learning frameworks, LLMs, RAG, algorithm complexity and optimisation).
4. Associated data engineering software development competencies (Docker, NiFi, Kubernetes, Java, Angular) would be a plus.
5. Experience in Defense (in particular Intelligence and Command & Control) with their specific constraints would be a great plus.
6. Fluently speaking French and advanced in English (daily working language).
