Linkwave is looking for an RF Designer to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge communication systems.

You will work with advanced RF equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the innovation and excellence that drive our success.

Tasks

In order to fulfill the tasks at hand, you’ll need to be highly experienced with this entire stack:

Indoor Radio Systems Design

1. Designing RF coverage solutions for in-building locations (Malls, Underground, Stores, public avenue, etc.)
2. Installation project management and technical oversight
3. Commissioning and integration of in-building radio systems

Supporting Site Acquisition and Presales Team

1. Provide valuable technical information for landlord design approval
2. Work closely with other Engineering and Operations team members related to in-building projects and provide support where required

Ad-hoc Tasks

1. Assist in architectural modeling of building floor plans
2. Updating and reporting design status on a weekly basis
3. Ensure the design criteria is up to date and cascaded to all stakeholders
4. Perform, record, collect, and organize all data and documentation

Requirements

To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate the following experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technologist program or equivalent
2. Eng Certification is a strong asset
3. iBwave training / experience
4. DAS System training / certification for any of the DAS OEM platforms: TE, Mobile Access, SOLiD, CommScope
5. Training / certification for CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G is an asset
6. Fundamental understanding of the physics behind RF wave propagation theory
7. Ability to apply logarithmic RF math concepts to perform power link budget calculations, and compare different products via their technical specifications
8. Ability to use basic office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook / Email, Adobe Acrobat
9. Excellent customer interface skills with a strong teamwork focus
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills
11. Innovative and open-minded to new techniques and technologies
12. Attitude focused on team success and improving the customer experience
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
14. Possession of a valid G class driver’s license in good standing
15. Willingness and ability to travel as needed for work-related tasks
