Community Benefits and Saskatchewan Growth Plan
Service Providers are asked how their proposal can provide a maximum positive impact to the Saskatchewan community. In these unprecedented times of Covid-19 pandemic, GOS is interested in supporting regional economic development and enhancing quality of life across the province of Saskatchewan. Generating local community benefits and economic activities are considered objectives of this competition and the proponent’s ability to offer these benefits will be assessed in this competitive process. Specifically, GOS is looking for local participation in this competition; proponents are required to clearly describe how they will be committed to addressing and maximizing local employment opportunities for Saskatchewan residents, supporting Saskatchewan industry, and generating economic development, including but not limited to percentage of Saskatchewan resources to be involved in this project, and engaging local partners and sub-contractor companies if applicable.
Service Providers are to respond to this in Appendix B, Qualifications Descriptions Form.
The resource will be required to participate in consultant performance evaluation as deemed appropriate by the Ministry. Familiarity with the Government of Saskatchewan, or comparable entity, technical and business landscape is considered an asset.
