Our client, a not for profit residential organization requires an Administrative Assistant to join them on a temporary basis.

• Answers and directs phone calls and general office emails to the appropriate person; ensures member inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
• Greets visitors, including members, staff, contractors, and vendors, providing a positive and welcoming client experience.
• Opens and closes the reception area and ensures it is kept tidy.
• Distributes incoming mail and correspondence to appropriate individuals; date stamps mail and files member correspondence weekly.
• Maintains organized, up-to-date filing systems for both paper and electronic documents, including member contact lists.
• Keeps the bookkeeper informed of parking and locker changes.

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or front desk role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and general office technology
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience maintaining filing systems (electronic and paper)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with housing co-ops or non-profit environments is an asset
