What to expect as an Apprentice Technician?
Primary responsibilities include:
- Identify performance problems while using diagnostic equipment and advising customers and customer-facing associates on the work performed, general vehicle condition, and future suggested maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, lubrications, and tune-ups.
- Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to all “work safe” protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and your coworkers.
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
- Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road!

- In this role, you can expect to be frequently lifting weights of approximately 25KG – this ability is required.
- Up for a challenge? At times the work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, and even windy.
- This role will have you crouching, standing, or kneeling on a regular basis.
What does it take to get on track?
- To be considered for this role, you need to be at least a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice or a Licensed Automotive Service Technician; preference will be given to those with a Red Seal designation.
- You need to have a valid driver’s license permitting the independent operation of a passenger vehicle.
- You must be able to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract, ensuring you are safe on the road.
