Automotive Technician - Capital Ford Lincoln Regina

Capital Ford Lincoln in Regina is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of servicing vehicles and learn new technology and maintenance practices

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical documents
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to participate in in-dealership training
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
