- Salary range for this position is $60,000 per year - $70,000 per year with a bonus of $10k-$30k plus benefits, based on experience and wireless industry knowledge.

Blue Link Wireless, an authorized agent of AT&T, is looking for an experienced multi-unit District Manager - Area Sales Leader.
The Area Sales Leader is responsible for the sales and operations of five to ten Blue Link Wireless AT&T Authorized Retail locations, ensuring each location delivers an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include recruiting and staffing, driving daily sales performance, assessing overall performance, and identifying areas for improvement. The Area Sales Leader will also celebrate successes to reinforce team efforts and accomplishments, monitor sales behaviors and product knowledge during visits, identify issues, devise action plans, and seek opportunities for business growth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Meet all AT&T and Blue Link Wireless compliance and merchandising requirements in all locations.
- Oversee the successful operation of 5 to 10 Blue Link Wireless AT&T Authorized Retail locations.
- Contribute to a fun and friendly work environment for customers and team members.
- Lead by example.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and customer service expectations in each location.
- Minimize or eliminate losses to the company in each location.
- Create a laser focus on sales and sales-generating activities every day in each location.
- Conduct a minimum of 4 effective store visits per location per month, including evening and weekend visits, providing detailed recaps.
- Manage recruiting and staffing for all positions in the market.
- Conduct monthly 1-on-1s with Store Leaders and Sales Leaders to review performance and create action plans.
- Foster knowledge and best practice sharing through regular conference calls, training, and meetings.
- Maintain and communicate store performance metrics, recognizing top performances.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
- Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures in partnership with HR.
- Conduct monthly New Hire Sales Training to deliver defined Blue Link Sales Behaviors.
- Collaborate with partners to plan and execute local events and promotions.
- Ensure all store personnel are trained on and follow all policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer issues.
- Deliver a clean, organized, and fully operational retail experience for customers and employees.
- Proactively review reporting to identify potential risks and take appropriate action.
- Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, vendors, and partners.
- Report to work on-site regularly and punctually.
- Work 50+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Reports To: Director of Sales
Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Valid Driver's License & Proof of Liability Insurance.
Supervisory: Yes
Work Environment
- Exposure to computer equipment and typical retail store noise levels.
- Travel is required.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Five or more years of successful sales experience with 2+ years of wireless multi-unit retail leadership preferred.
- 2+ years of Wireless Retail Store Manager experience.
- Demonstrated development and promotion of Sales Advocates to Store Leaders.
- High ethical behavior and integrity in business transactions.
- Success in directing training and development activities of a sales team.
- Success in staffing stores with high-quality candidates.
- Experience with behavioral-based selection processes for staffing.
- Success in managing store-based marketing initiatives.
- Experience with merchandising and store sales promotions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent knowledge of store operations for training team members.
- Professional with a balance of risk-taking and judgment, confidence, and assertiveness.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and safety rules.
- Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees.
- Knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
