Context & Environment

The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates and the affiliate will provide accommodation.

As R&D Project Coordinator, your role, on a theme related to new energies, will be to:

1. Ensure safe delivery of the operational and laboratory activities related to the projects.
2. Act as on-site representative of TotalEnergies for the day-to-day follow-up of the R&D projects, from a technical/scientific point of view and a project management point of view.
3. Support and challenge the technical progress of the projects and secure, against the agreed timeline, the timely delivery of the overall project and propose mitigation actions in case of deviation.
4. Report the daily observations and situation assessment to the TotalEnergies R&D/Power Technical Leader in Rio, Casa Dos Ventos in Brazil and the Integrated Power team in the Headquarters.
5. Verify the regular technical and administrative progress reports and documents from the research partner to release the scheduled payments and ensure full compliance with the local ANP regulations.
6. Perform some business intelligence on specific topics.
7. Proactively identify blockers/challenges, propose mitigation and alternative actions upon alignment with TotalEnergies in Rio R&D/Power Technical Leader (or any other program manager if required).
8. Be responsible for efficient inter-university communication, when required.
9. Investigate opportunities to implement outcomes of the R&D projects in TEEPBR or Casa Dos Ventos assets.

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

• Post Doc / Researcher, with a background in Power market, Wind, and Solar energies.

Technical skills:

• Understanding of the electricity and Power value chain.
• Understanding of the academic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including oral and written communication.

Computing skills:

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams...)
• Power BI.
• Project management tool (Monday) is a plus.

Languages:

• English: C1
• French: B2
• Portuguese: Optional
