We're seeking an exceptional, customer-obsessed leader to join Amazon Brazil's Books team as a Vendor Manager for Imported Books. This strategic role combines commercial acumen with operational excellence to drive the growth and performance of our Imported Books category.


This role is responsible for managing the Imported Books Selection, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational priorities. Main responsibilities include:


  1. Oversee Cross-Border Programs: Manage the performance of Imported programs, optimizing operations to deliver maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  2. Enhance new Imported Integration: Responsible for bringing and managing new buyable selection, refining pricing strategies, expanding selection, and enhancing customer experience.
  3. Coordinate Cross-Program Alignment: Ensure seamless integration and collaboration between all programs to maximize synergies and growth opportunities.
  4. Strategic Initiatives and Event Support: Lead cross-border projects and events, ensuring inventory availability and category relevance for key promotional activities.

Vendor Manager for Imported Books will assume a senior leadership role, overseeing the management and performance of all imported programs for Books. This position will ensure alignment across all initiatives and drive strategic execution for the Imported Books category.


This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and to develop and build strong functional skills across retail in negotiation, online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
  2. 2+ years of market research analyst, product manager, or equivalent experience
  3. 2+ years of doing one of several roles: quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, pricing, marketing, or e-commerce experience
  4. Bachelor's degree
  5. Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
  6. 3+ years of doing one of several roles: management consulting, investment banking analyst/associate, or brand manager role at leading consumer packaged goods company experience
  7. Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain
