The Managing Director and the HSE Manager have a joint responsibility for hiring, firing, target setting and appraisal of the HSE Managers. The level of the role HSE Manager relates to size and complexity of the entity. The HSE Manager is a seasoned expert with strong leadership skills, deep understanding of regulations, and effective communication.

Align the HSE strategy with the global HSE strategy and support the local management in developing the regional HSE strategic roadmaps and objectives.
Build a sustainable HSE commitment, awareness, knowledge, behaviors and engagement of the regional management and employees.
Formulates the HSE year plans, budgets, annual objectives and HSE goals for the entity, and, after approval, ensures the execution thereof.
Coordinate the BU Council and Quarterly Management reviews.
Build a sustainable HSE commitment, awareness, knowledge, behaviors and engagement of the business management and employees.
Manages the deployment of new or changed policies, programs and standards and practices, follows through to coordinate 100% implementation.
Plan, prepare and conduct internal safety inspections and assessments.
Enhance experience sharing by promoting the exchange of resources and support.
Provide support to major projects, mergers and acquisitions on, complex shutdown activities, or major modifications.
Responsible for building a team of qualified HSE to support the local sites.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of four years of related regional or global HSE role.
Advanced Spanish and English.
