The ATS Sorting Center Learning Coordinator is responsible for leading the day-to-day learning process and staff of an assigned shift within a single Amazon Sorting Center facility. This role requires a deep understanding of sortation processes, safety protocols, and workforce management to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe execution of sorting activities. The Learning Coordinator collaborates with the Sorting Center Site Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, address operational challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

ATS is looking for a Learning Coordinator. This position will support Middle Mile expansion by implementing scalable solutions in order to guarantee quality of processes and drive standards adoption.

As Learning Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading onboarding and proficiency programs, driving process standardization and process improvement. You will also perform quality audits and follow up metrics measurement that will drive customer experience and performance improvement within the delivery network.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Onboard Amazon Associates so that they learn how to operate with Amazon systems and tools;
  2. Create training material for team and new programs for ATS;
  3. Lead training sessions and work actively on ATS SC launch;
  4. Mentor Amazon Leadership in lean principles and drive adoption of standard work processes into the daily work;
  5. Support network level excellence in six sigma and lean practices through designing and implementing processes, metrics, and the proper usage of systems;
  6. Leverage Best at Amazon (BAA) practices to support process improvements, best practice sharing, and standardization of the work routine.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Completed Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment
  3. Experience leading, teaching and developing people to deliver key organizational goals
  4. Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  5. Cross-functional project management experience
  6. Process improvement experience via Kaizen and use of LEAN tools
  7. Experience using and communicating performance metrics
  8. Advanced English
  9. Candidate must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight, as needed
  10. Candidate must have availability to travel up to 25% of the time
  11. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field as well as an MBA is a plus
  12. Experience with Learning Management Systems and content development
  13. Ability to influence others without having positional authority
  14. Certifications in Six Sigma and Lean are a plus
  15. Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  16. Ability to Deep Dive and develop innovative ideas for process challenges
