Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize shaders, materials, particle effects, and animation setups to achieve desired visual effects while ensuring performance across various mobile devices and platforms.
• Troubleshoot problems and assist the team in unblocking issues related to UI, arts, and VFXs;
• Work closely with artists and developers to integrate assets into the game engine, ensuring they meet technical requirements and performance standards.
• Produce and maintain documentation on tools, methods, processes, and engine limits for consultation and future reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and design best practices.
• Be a solid teammate, brainstorm and partner with other designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming or entertainment industry;
• Knowledge of the game development process, visual design principles, technical constraints, and best practices for mobile game development;
• Programming skills, with proficiency in the C# language;
• Proficiency in the Unity Game Engine and experience with asset pipelines;
• Knowledge in the development of Shaders and VFX;
• Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate ideas clearly, and accept feedback gracefully;
• Knowledge of animation principles and experience with animation software such as ToonBoom Harmony, Adobe Animate, Unity Animator, and others;
• Intermediate English;

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Spine or Similar;
• Basic knowledge of UX best practices;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with game development;
• Experience with mobile development;
• Experience with responsive design.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or related field.
