The individual will form part of the Fund Services team and will be responsible for assisting with the servicing of a portfolio of funds and other structures. They will lead a team of Fund Administrators of various levels as well as support senior management with other tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for client queries in the absence of his/her manager.
- Coaching Senior Fund Administrators with the training of junior team members within his/her team.
- Ensuring adherence to documented procedures and policies to provide complete, accurate and timely fund administration services to clients.
- Liaise closely with senior management to highlight any specific team requirements to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Client contact in absence of his/her manager.
- Responsible for their Team’s work and deliverables.
- Reviewing procedures and assisting senior management to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Testing of new systems and operational flows if required.
- Assist senior management in recruiting and training new members of staff.
- Perform NAV reviews when required, or in the absence of the Senior Fund Administrators.
- Working on ad-hoc internal projects when necessary.
Experience & Education Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Fund Administrator/Accountant position.
- Ideally in possession of a Degree in the field of accounts, and/or Banking & Finance or any other degree with pertinent qualifications.
- Understanding of various securities and other financial instruments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially Microsoft Excel and PDF.
