We are creating nearly 200 Fully Remote jobs in Brazil for various financial technology (Fintech) engineering, database, development, and testing teams.

About This Opportunity

We are building a talented support team in Brazil and looking for a dynamic Support Software Engineer to help maintain and enhance our FS Core operations. This role is perfect for professionals who thrive in fast-paced Agile environments and want to grow their careers while delivering impactful results.


Responsibilities

  • Be the Frontline Support: Provide critical support for our applications and systems, ensuring stability and quick resolutions.
  • 24x7 On-Call Rotation: You must be ready to participate in a rotational 3rd/4th level support schedule. This is a key aspect of the role, offering a unique chance to tackle challenges head-on and gain invaluable experience.
  • Collaborate Globally: Strong English communication skills are essential as you’ll interact daily with international teams.
  • Innovate & Troubleshoot: Solve complex issues, contribute ideas, and maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Support Transitions: Ensure seamless transitions from development to support environments.
  • Enhance Systems: Configure, deploy, debug, monitor, and document new features and enhancements.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Java and Oracle (must-have)
  • Fluent or advanced English is required for daily communication with our international teams.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, Splunk, Dynatrace (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL is a plus

Experience:

  • 3+ years in Java/J2EE development
  • 2+ years in production environment support
  • 2+ years with Oracle stored procedures
  • 1+ year with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Experience on Linux platforms

Additional Knowledge:

  • Spring Framework (Spring-MVC, Batch, Boot, Security)
  • Application servers: Tomcat, JBoss
  • Web services: REST, SOAP
  • DevOps and project management tools: Jenkins, Sonar, JIRA, Confluence

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
