START UP PROCESS ENGINEER

As an Operations Readiness - Start Up Process Engineer, you are accountable for reinforcing process technical support offshore on business critical units.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support new projects, in particular integrating pre-first oil with the production team on start-up preparations.
2. Support with Operations Readiness Team, particularly activities related to Production Readiness Notice, First Oil, and Flare out (Background flaring).
3. Support new projects with the transfer of experience and knowledge to the next assignments in Ops Readiness Start Up.
4. Support the production team with day-to-day optimization and troubleshooting, particularly owning the process digital tools.
5. Lead investigation for process-related incidents.
6. Ensure Start Up manual & production procedures are up to date and relevant.
7. Provide process engineer input for MoC as required.
8. Provide process engineer input supporting Operations in the yard phase including OTP witnessing and project preparation (e.g. document review, P&IDs, operating manuals, PFDs, HAZOP).
9. Act as focal point offshore for Operations Process Engineering.
10. Capture and detail Lessons Learned during yard and acknowledge transfer from previous start up.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: University degree, BSc or MSc in Chemical or Process Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months accumulated offshore experience; Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas.
