Role and Responsibilities:Support Purchasing and accounts payables processes for North America region, including review purchase orders, wire transfers, etc.
Prepare month end journal entries for international locations mostly in North America and Europe
Prepare monthly reconciliations reports for head office on Balance Sheet accounts
Provide monthly actual vs. budget and trend income statement analysis to head office
Assist in annual audits from outside audit firm
Assist in internal audits
Other accounting related tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational, analytical, research and internal auditing skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
Ability to work under pressure
Proven analytical and technical aptitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail oriented, analytical and strategic thinker
Proactive, decisive, leader capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years experience in accounting with progressive responsibility
BA/BS in Accounting
Practical experience with general ledger closings, international consolidations and financial statement preparation in accordance with IFRS
Good English skills, both written and oral
Experience with MS Office, especially Excel
