Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Alexa Brazil

DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and ambient computing? The Alexa International team is looking for customer-focused, results-oriented, and creative Sr. Product Marketing Manager to define and execute the marketing strategy for Alexa in Brazil. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will define and execute strategies and programs to drive significant customer engagement and retention with Alexa service.

Key job responsibilities

1. Own the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention with Alexa features and service.
2. Launch dedicated feature awareness and engagement experiments (A/B-tests), customer journeys, and campaigns, and monitor performance to continuously optimize reach and conversion.
3. Collaborate with multiple local and international product and tech partners to imagine, develop, and implement tools and initiatives for long-term engagement and continuous feature discovery.
4. Use data and insights to develop a deep understanding of the drivers of customer activation (engagement), habitual usage of Alexa (retention), recovery (reactivation), and translate those insights into think big initiatives.
5. Develop segmentation strategy, leveraging internal tools to identify and target high propensity customer cohorts; identify and leverage new or emerging patterns in customer behavior to inform strategy and engage new segments.
6. Closely track and report on the engagement metrics, action plans, and performance, through the different reporting processes.
7. Work in partnership with business intelligence, engineering, and merchandising teams to design and execute test-and-learn plans that drive engagement, prevent customer churn, and support critical business initiatives in a scalable manner.

The Alexa BR team's mission is to deliver products and services with a delightful and locally relevant experience for Brazilian customers. We work on everything from product launches (like launching new Echo devices), to new skill partnerships (like working with external partners to make their services available through Alexa), to more consumer-focused campaigns. The Alexa BR team is an essential part of helping customers feel that Alexa is a trusted companion in their daily life.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
2. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
3. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
4. Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
5. Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches.
6. Ability to prioritize well, manage complex trade-offs and communicate clearly among multi-functional teams.
7. Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
8. Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
9. Experience with A/B Testing or Multi-Variate Testing or both.
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
11. Willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.
2. Experience in start-up type environments or electronics/tech companies.
3. Experience working with remote teams and global brands.
4. Knowledge of LLM and Generative Artificial Intelligence.
