Sr. Procurement Analyst

Our Operations and Procurement Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join our procurement team. This role primarily focuses on managing the procurement processes for indirect categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, finance, engineering, or accounting.

This position reports directly to the Director of Procurement, and this is a remote work from home opportunity with flexible office space on demand.

How you'll make a difference:

• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in the market.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance, or accounting.
• 5+ years of work experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Officer, or relevant role within procurement, finance, or accounting.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent negotiation and strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures.
• CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
