We are looking for:

1. a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience in retail or warehousing
2. 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Analyst
3. Experience working in an Engineering setting with technical stakeholders
4. Experience with databases and queries - SQL, NoSQL, Oracle
5. Interest in working with Proactive to write customizations
6. Willing to be a technical BSA

What is the work?

1. Identifies / documents functional and non-functional requirements
2. Ensures Product Management and business stakeholders understand impacts of requests on the project, associated applications, and other business units
3. Influences / manages scope change
4. Refines requirements (user stories) so they are readily consumable by software Engineers
5. Owns end-to-end quality strategy for group of closely aligned product(s)
6. Develops test cases designed to validate functional and non-functional system requirements
7. Executes / facilitates execution of test scripts based on test cases
8. Works in testing tools or frameworks to create automated testing suites for one or more systems
9. Uses data to drive decisions
10. Applies a high-level understanding of each product's system architecture and the technologies used to move / modify data in them (e.g., queues / messaging services, web services, APIs, databases)
11. Assists Engineers in debugging / troubleshooting issues involving data or the accuracy of data, in day-to-day work and production support scenarios
12. Researches external systems as needed to reverse engineer or understand their function through data extraction and validation
13. Contributes to refinement of SDLC-related tools, standards, and training
14. Influences business process improvements / product roadmap
15. Serves as domain subject matter expert
16. Mentors others

What is your background?

1. 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Analyst
2. Experience successfully working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
3. Experience supporting retail, supply chain, ecommerce, or digital marketing operations a plus
4. Experience with Java
