The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

Take ownership of analytical projects end-to-end from extracting and exploring data, generating hypotheses, building structured analysis to rigorously evaluate problem and solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations, communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and translate into actionable initiatives
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback, validate requirements, and drive consensus among stakeholders
Support ad-hoc strategic projects by analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decision-making by senior management

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in data analysis or business analysis roles with a strong track record of successfully problem-solving and delivering business results
Ability to communicate complex data analysis concepts clearly and concisely and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments and handle multiple ad-hoc projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and accuracy
Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken)
Proficiency and advanced G-sheet/ Excel skills
Knowledge and proficiency in SQL is a plus
Strong knowledge of the logistics sector in Brazil, including market trends, competitive landscape and regulations is a plus
