Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Define a complete solution based on Yokogawa Level 3 solutions portfolio to address specific business problems within a customer organization, focusing on customer’s needs.
2. Work with organization’s leaders to identify problems and collaborate with IT/OT Team to address them with innovative solutions.
3. Oversee designing, modifying, and testing technical solution’s architecture.
4. Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.
5. Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes as needed.
6. Inform stakeholders about issues with current technical solutions.
7. Assess the business impact of technical choices.
8. Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
9. Create and sustain sales activities related to Yokogawa Level 3 Solutions portfolio.
10. Conduct Solutions Webinars and customer presentations, showcasing solution functionalities.

Qualifications

1. Proven work experience as a Solution Specialist or similar role.
2. Deep experience in Level 3 solutions promotion (Yokogawa and/or similar Automation/Solution Company).
3. Previous project management experience is advantageous.
4. Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
5. Efficient communication skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
6. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Automation) or Computer Science, or minimum 5 years of industry experience in solution development/integration.
8. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
9. Willingness and ability to travel throughout South America and globally if necessary.

Competencies

3. Knowledge of Oil and Gas, Pharma, and Materials, or specialized chemical domain is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of Level 3 Solutions such as MES, PIMS, APC, MPA, CLPM, WtE technologies, Process Simulation, and others.

Skills

1. Software skills in solution analysis, design, methodology, and architecture.
2. Exposure to Simulation technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications (OSI PI a plus), visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, process simulation, and Advanced Process Control (APC/MPC).
3. Anticipates the need for change and supports companywide programs, strategies, and initiatives.
4. Creates an environment conducive to successful interaction and customer engagement.
