Software QA Lead - Firmware

PTW is seeking a Software QA Lead - Firmware to join our team. Will lead a team focused on manually testing third-party software.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of Firmware QA testers to ensure the quality of our firmware.
2. Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
3. Collaborate with the development team to understand product changes and develop appropriate testing strategies.
4. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
5. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
6. Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
7. Monitor debugging process results.
8. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience leading teams of firmware quality assurance.
2. Strong knowledge of firmware QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
4. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
5. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
6. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
7. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is preferable.
