Software Architect

Our Client is one of the largest TV providers in North America and we are searching for a Software Architect to join our team. The project focuses on developing a mobile application for a video streaming platform.

Responsibilities:

• You will be working on the streaming video client architecture.
• Drive best practices for code quality and performance across application platforms.
• Create and maintain estimation frameworks across client platforms.
• Lead technical evaluations for Product 'what if' scenarios.
• Lead / develop POCs to vet out new technologies and/or feature ideas.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
• Ability to do big picture thinking through the lens of the customer while still understanding the technical details.
• Excellent at React Native mobile app development as well as at least one of the following: Java/Kotlin or Obj-C/Swift.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Streaming mobile app architecture experience with iOS/Android and TV Platforms is a plus.
