The CIO I&T Operations team is seeking a Software Developer with strong scripting skills to enhance and optimize our platform. Our team is responsible for IT Service Management and other critical functions within the CIO organization, leveraging ServiceNow and other tools to support our operations. You will be part of an agile DevOps team focused on continuous improvement and innovation. The ideal candidate will have experience in customization, administration, configuration, and integration development within ServiceNow. Our team is multidisciplinary in technology, using ServiceNow as a key component while integrating IBM products and other solutions into our ecosystem

Your role and responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will harness the power of the latest tools and technologies to craft cutting-edge software solutions for the Information Management Systems product. Your responsibilities encompass the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that components are meticulously designed, rigorously tested, debugged, verified, and poised for seamless integration into IBM's world-class hierarchical database solutions. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in aiding organizations to enhance their business outcomes in the global marketplace.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

• Experience with GitHub and DevOps tools.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, JSON, REST, SOAP, business rules, and script includes.

• Awareness of User Experience (UX) design principles.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Fluent or native-level English proficiency.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with ServiceNow Portal, widgets, AngularJS, and JavaScript.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client and Server scripts, UI Pages, REST API, and Flow Designer.

• Knowledge of MID Server and direct/scripted web services.

• Experience in database administration, table management, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes.

• Knowledge of AI concepts to support the integration and development of AI services (IBM Watson preferred).

• ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

• Good experience in software development or related areas.

• Strong understanding of both SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, DB2) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• Knowledge of monitoring tools and concepts for Monitoring and Event Management.

• Experience in writing and executing Unit and Integration Tests as part of Test-Driven DevOps Development.
