Service Engineer- Northeast Region

Our client is one of the nation’s leading machine manufactures and they are looking to hire a Service Engineer for their Central Midwest region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on CNC Machinery and field service experience.

Service Engineer

Location:

Northeast Region (remote position that will require 50% travel to the following states: MA, NH, MD, NJ)

Required skills and responsibilities:

1. Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or going onsite.
2. Creating and updating documentation of technical information.
3. Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service.
4. Aid and training to Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
5. Build strong customer service relationships with customers.
6. Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
7. Ability to travel 50% of the time to customers.

Qualifications:

1. 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
2. Experience working with manufacturing machines.
3. Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence ladder diagrams.
4. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Compensation:

1. $83,000-111,000 annually.
2. Overtime pay.
3. Annual bonus.
4. 401k matching.
5. Company Vehicle.
