As a Senior Software Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients in the supply chain and transportation & logistics industries achieve their business objectives through the successful adoption and implementation of software solutions. Your expertise will focus on aligning business needs with software functionality, ensuring that solutions meet client requirements and optimize key business processes. You will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to drive project success from initial requirements gathering through to final implementation.
- Partner and collaborate closely with clients to innovate, understand and transform their current business model and customer experiences in relevant supply chain, transportation and logistics disciplines.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to collect and translate client business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with technical teams to ensure the software solution meets business needs. Apply industry best practices to recommend process improvements, optimize workflows, and design efficient, scalable software solutions.
- Lead functional workstreams within projects, acting as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project deliverables, timelines, and scope.
- Guide clients through the software implementation process, building client knowledge required to help them adapt to new software solutions, ensuring smooth transition and user adoption. Offer functional expertise to assist client and project team with system configuration, data setup, testing, training, and troubleshooting.
- Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and changes to both senior management and clients. Provide status reports, manage expectations, and proactively address any issues that could impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Share industry insights and best practices with clients and internal teams. Stay current with trends in supply chain, transportation, and logistics technology, including emerging areas like AI, machine learning, and digital transformation, and use this knowledge to improve client solutions.
- Leverage deep knowledge of supply chain management, transportation logistics, and inventory control to identify areas where technology can drive significant business value. Help clients optimize their operations through software, driving efficiencies, reducing costs, and improving performance.
- Support non-related project tasks to further the development of internal business lines and practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master), or similar disciplines are a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in a functional consulting role, focusing on the implementation of software solutions in supply chain, transportation design, planning, execution, and logistics. Alternative experience working as an expert user of a logistics, transportation, or supply chain network optimization software with significant responsibility for the delivery of the software solution.
- Proven track record of leading software projects from a business perspective, including requirements gathering, process design, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in managing client relationships and facilitating cross-functional collaboration between business and technical teams.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, transportation logistics, supply chain network design, inventory control, demand and supply planning, and distribution networks.
- Familiarity with industry-specific systems like TMS (Transportation Management Systems), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Supply Chain Planning Systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder), Supply Chain Strategic Network Design (i.e. AIMMS, Llamasoft, or similar).
- Knowledge of industry trends such as digital transformation, IoT, AI/ML applications in logistics, and sustainability in supply chain operations.
- Strong ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project management environments, with a solid understanding of how to manage scope, timeline, and resources with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying and addressing business challenges while being resilient and flexible.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide clients and internal teams through the business and functional aspects of software implementation.
- Strong analytical mindset, with a passion for driving efficient business transformation through technology and data analysis.
