As field service engineer you will be part of a global technical knowledge network and will be responsible to provide technical support to our customers on their sites.
About Professional Services Team
You will be part of the Brazil professional services team. Our department is responsible to deliver first class services 24/7.

Your responsibilities
- Coordinate a business unit/team in order to deliver service scopes/contracts, including supervision or execution of maintenance, assembly, installation and commissioning on several mining/pulp & paper industry sites.
- Coordinate the execution of service contracts, from the proposal to final delivery/invoicing.
- Coordinate and lead all field/back office personnel needed for the services execution, including senior/high skilled professionals.
- Coordinate and secure the resolution of warranties and claims.
- Develop ongoing relationships with customers to secure current/future contracts/business.
- Coordinate technical support to customers, FLSmidth Backoffice team and our suppliers.
- Coordinate advanced external and internal trainings.
- Coordinate the business strategy implementation.
- Coordinate projects, contracts execution, negotiation with customers, control and action over cost/margin control/report P&L.
- Coordinate support from Brazil to the FLS global service network, cooperating and sharing resources with FLS service/project colleagues around the world.
- Coordinate and assure resource utilization/absorption/planning/recruitment/hiring.
- Revision and elaboration of technical/field reports/documents/presentations.
- Revision and elaboration of field administrative reports/documents/presentations.
- Promote and guarantee a culture of safety, including customers and others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
What you bring
- 10 years of contracts coordination/leading experience with maintenance, assembly, installation, upgrades, retrofits and commissioning of equipment in mining/pulp & paper industry.
- Field experience is very important.
- Solid commercial/negotiation skills.
- Advanced/fluent English/Spanish language knowledge is very important (not mandatory).
- Availability to travel and be at suppliers/customers sites whenever needed to assure customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and profitability. Also to push sales and perform meetings.
- Good interpersonal relationship.
- Engineering graduation.
- Graduate degree/project management is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Tools (MS Office, MS project, Outlook, etc).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player & strong work ethics and integrity.
- Preferably experience in working with international colleagues.
