Senior SEO Content Writer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative senior content writer to join our content team at SiGMA Play in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

To be considered for this role, you need to have at least 4 years' experience in content writing. We will give preference to candidates who have experience working in the iGaming industry. As a senior content writer, you will be responsible for writing more complex long-form web content for our website, covering several English-speaking markets. You will create high-quality content that is based on SEO best practices, while following your existing style guide and brand voice, with little to no editing required on delivered work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creating high-quality content that aligns with the organization's goals and standards.
2. Liaising with and assisting junior writers.
3. Liaising with content managers and aiding in the planning and execution of maintenance tasks and any technical writing tasks.
4. Ensuring content of highest quality is delivered within a reasonable timeframe, with a 3,000-word count delivery per day as the goal.
5. Assisting stakeholders with ad hoc tasks such as guest post content creation.
6. Researching given topics efficiently.
7. Writing high-quality articles independently and in a timely fashion.
8. Creating error-free content that’s in line with our guidelines.
9. Using SEO best practices to generate traffic.
10. Creating a variety of content types, including main pages, subpages, game reviews, casino and sportsbook reviews, and blog articles.
11. Assisting with quarterly content calendar, blog topic ideation, and planning of maintenance and optimization tasks.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in iGaming content creation.
• Relevant diploma or degree in marketing, English, or Journalism.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO.
• Cultural understanding and sensitivity to tailor content to the target audience’s preferences, interests, and nuances.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in content creation and using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Neuronwriter for keyword research and content optimization.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Self-starter who can write independently and requires little input and feedback from Content Managers.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
• Ability to adapt writing style between different pieces of content to meet stylistic demands.
