As a Sales Manager, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and developing good relationships with local clients in Brazil. You’ll win business and contribute to the strategic plan of higher unit both in function and business. You’ll be responsible for selling products, services, parts, solutions and/or projects.
As a GTS Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Close contact with customers defining maintenance strategy and leading internal team to respond properly on commercial phase
- Promote the sale of Spare parts, Field Services, Repairs, Upgrades and Training for the assigned fleet
- Scout opportunities with customers to fulfill yearly operational plan and build pipeline for future years
- Manage the entire sales process, including accurate forecasting via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, SFDC Deal Machine
- Provide market analysis and keep the sales strategy aligned with the needs
- Handle complex opportunities requiring technical knowledge as well as knowledge of market
- Handle contracts involving pricing and conditions of sales, rent, operation and maintenance.
- Lead “go to market” strategy for each opportunity mapped and drive internal efforts to win the deals in existing customers and new business areas
- Organize technical sessions with customers to promote upcoming technologies added to portfolio
- Be a reference for company compliance and HSE values, keeping Baker’s as known reference for these unnegotiable values in the market
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration/Energy Engineering preferred) from an accredited university or college and experience in Proposals/Commercial Operations/Sales/Project Management.
- Be fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish
- Have large experience with turbomachinery market and its associated auxiliaries
- Have industry knowledge / competitive landscape understanding
- Have product knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors and other turbomachinery products.
- Have broad technical sales experience across multiple geographies, including knowledge of segment level dynamics (incl competitors) across OOP, PGP, LNG & REP.
- Have technical sales mindset and proven track record to drive deal pre-positioning and drive business outcomes before firm RFQ stage.
- Have good customer engagement skills and ability to interact with engineering managers, project managers, operations managers, etc.
- Have expertise in using various application engineering tools such as GT PRO, ITO APP, etc.
