We are looking for a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Senior Manager of Programming to join the team and help grow our business in Brazil. The role will focus on leading integrated programming strategy, working in partnership with different stakeholders to categorize, schedule and program key content in Brazil, taking into consideration local customer’s needs, available content, international launches, advertising campaigns plan, and positioning of our service. S/he will focus on a long-term strategy while contributing to local originals and regional acquisition strategy. S/he must execute innovative and effective programming strategies considering the possible different behavior based on device, calendar events, and customer segmentation. S/he will lead content consumption research and insights, and general market analysis to make decisions.
The successful candidate is a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision, has the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others and drive results. S/he should be able to think and act strategically, develop structured plans and be willing to execute hands-on with a start-up type of mentality. S/he will be data-driven with a proven track record in content programming skills, either linear or non-linear. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This person must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both Portuguese and English, as well as the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership. The role will have no direct reports but will need to engage and drive things across a broad set of stakeholders.
