Role Overview:

As a Senior Power BI Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an end-to-end Power BI environment from scratch. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex business logic, extract and model data, and create insightful reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Power BI Environment Setup – Establish the Power BI architecture, configure data connections, implement security best practices, and ensure scalability.
2. Data Modeling & Transformation – Develop efficient data models, perform ETL operations using Power Query, and optimize performance for large datasets.
3. Report & Dashboard Development – Create interactive dashboards and reports tailored to Finance, HR, and Payroll analytics, ensuring clarity and usability.
4. Business Logic Understanding – Work closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into data-driven insights.
5. Collaboration & Training – Support business users in utilizing Power BI, providing training and documentation as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including setup from scratch.
2. Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for data transformation and calculations.
3. Experience working with financial, HR, and payroll data.
4. Ability to understand and implement complex business logic in reports and dashboards.
5. Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
6. Familiarity with integrating Power BI with various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, APIs, cloud platforms).
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
8. Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
