Job Purpose

Responsible for executing and verifying activities that promote the progress of developing solutions for Materials Technology and Special Processes, with the aim of contributing to the development of new products and processes, ensuring the safety, deadlines, quality, and budget of the area.

Job Description

• Execute R&D Projects;
• Study new technologies;
• Work in multidisciplinary projects;
• Have technical interface with universities;
• Prospect and develop new technologies associated with materials engineering and New product development support.
• Vacancy directed to the research and development projects in the area of Materials engineering.

You are meant for this job if:

• Graduation in Metallurgical or Materials engineering. Master’s Degree desirable in the areas of Metallurgy or Metallic Materials.
• CREA.
• Experience in Research and Development in Metallic Materials.
• Knowledge of characterization techniques used in metallic materials.
• Knowledge of corrosion and degradation and/or embrittlement mechanisms present in oil and gas operation and production environments.
• Basic knowledge of simulation techniques and methods in Materials is desirable.
• Knowledge of statistical methods for data treatment and analysis is desirable.
• Knowledge of presentation techniques.
