Senior Java Developer

An international Investment Bank is enhancing its IT systems by introducing new technology and integrating with new third-party providers. Several projects will take place in the coming years, focusing on Trading, Market data, and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with business stakeholders including Traders, Operations and Strats
2. Help to understand and translate business requirements into technical design specifications
3. Identify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiatives
4. Implement unit and integration test cases with industry standard test automation frameworks.
5. Document changes necessary to support business

Mandatory Skills Description:

1. 6+ years of enterprise development experience (Java/JDK 8+)
2. Experience developing High-Performance and Distributed Applications
3. Experience with Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
4. Experience with Cache/In-Memory Data Grids (Redis, Hazelcast, or similar)
5. Experience with REST/SOAP/gRPC
6. Expertise in OOP/OOD
7. Expertise in concurrency and multithreading
8. Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
9. Experience with complex SQL queries
10. Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD, Mutation testing)
11. Experience working on geo-distributed and asynchronous teams
12. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
13. High level of self-organization and self-management
