InterMoor is currently looking to add an experienced Senior Engineer to their team based in Rio de Janeiro on a full time, permanent basis. The Senior Engineer will support engineering and operations department with the delivery of engineering projects across the InterMoor range of services in compliance with the appropriate technical, company and industry standards.

The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Duties

1. Design and analysis of mooring systems for drilling platforms and permanent production units
2. Development and verification of procedures for the installation of mooring systems and subsea equipment
3. Offshore support and monitoring during offshore/installation activities
4. Issuance of executive project reports
5. Material inventory: Control of records relating to the requisition, receipt, storage, distribution and dispatch of materials and equipment
6. Participate in the company's HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Programs (Ex: Safety Meetings, Participate in operations risk assessments, etc.)
7. Ensure that all operations are carried out within InterMoor's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System

Required

1. Degree in Engineering
2. 5 years’ experience in mooring design and mooring operations, and offshore experience highly preferred
3. Fluent English – speaking, reading, and writing
4. Autocad, Office package, Orcaflex or any mooring analysis software
5. Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
6. Written Communication: Write clearly and informatively
7. Ability to work in a team (good interpersonal relationships)
8. Ability to adapt to new situations
9. Availability for national and international travel
10. Performance in HSE (health, safety and environmental) management, including work permit, risk assessment, basic understanding of safety, health and environmental standards
