WORKPLACE

Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid work)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in security governance by contributing to the Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) framework;
• Influence how they operate secure software;
• As regulations are expected to become stricter, particularly concerning autonomous driving, you'll also be responsible for the continuous and progressive development of the software development process;
• Work closely with product teams to ensure both architecture and development align with the latest security standards;
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and continuously optimize the secure software lifecycle process according to the latest standards (e.g., UNECE R155);
• Advise teams and establish a group of security experts across all development teams;
• Integrate different systems, modify data, and ensure smooth communication between them;
• Configure and reconfigure new systems to meet security requirements and operational needs;
• Design and implement scripts for secure data transfer between systems, adhering to security protocols and best practices;
• Incorporate threat intelligence feeds and tools into security systems to enhance our ability to detect and effectively respond to security threats;
• Guide teams in implementing technologies such as Static Application Security Testing, Dynamic Application Security Testing, and Fuzzing, integrated into the "DevSecOps" concept;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful integration of security systems and measures, addressing technical challenges as they arise.

WE REQUIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, or more than 5 years of experience in the role;
• Experience with security frameworks and common best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO...);
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing robust risk mitigation strategies to address potential threats and vulnerabilities;
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cybersecurity awareness initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to foster a strong security culture within the organization;
• Develop, review, and refine security policies to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security objectives and compliance requirements;
• Familiarity with the software development process and security test automation;
• Knowledge of cloud environments (preferably AWS);
• Knowledge of security CI/CD pipeline templates (GitLab);
• Security Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC);
• Relevant certifications are highly welcomed (e.g., ISC certificates (CISSP, CSSLP, SSCP...), CompTIA Security+, or similar).
