Senior Control and Automation Engineer

Job Purpose

• Develop and implement improvements in projects and products, guide support activities for execution and field operations, aiming to meet the needs of internal and external customers, in the area of Controls and Automation to which they belong.

Job Description

• Initial project, execution, commissioning, and improvements of electrical and automation projects for machines and equipment;
• Write technical specifications for electrical and automation solutions for machines and equipment;
• Lead projects and suppliers of automation solutions involving assembly and startup as well as hardware and software solutions for equipment automation;
• Conduct root cause analysis of failures in machines involving electrical and automation;
• Perform FMEA study, risk analysis, and technical feasibility for automation;
• Be able to develop new innovative functions for equipment;
• Location: Campos dos Goytacazes.

You are meant for this job if:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering;
• Solid knowledge and experience in automation projects or automation with maintenance;
• Experience with Siemens automation equipment and Siemens Drives;
• Knowledge in Profinet industrial networks;
• Knowledge in: TIA Portal Version 15 or higher, Step 7 Professional – version v15.1, Step 7 Safety Advanced – version v15.1, WinCC Professional – version v15.1, Sinamics Startdrive Advanced – version v15.1, Simotion Scout – version v5.3.1, NX software Siemens - version 2406, TIA Portal SIEMENS for S7-1500 e 1200, Profinet NET Siemens;
• Advanced English.
