The Amazon Aviation Security (AvSec) team is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Senior Business Analyst. In this critical role, you will utilize broad technical skills to develop data visualization tools, build automated solutions, and convert data into actionable insights that drive business decision making and process improvement. The Senior Business Analyst will leverage a variety of data platforms, sources, and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information to the AvSec network. They will build deep contextual and domain knowledge to ensure data quality. This role requires a self-starter with strong data analytical skills, a keen attention to detail and good track record of hitting deadlines. A successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple requests and efficiently execute deliverables.
The successful candidate will collaborate with AvSec team leaders to identify business issues, gather and analyze data, and propose data-driven solutions. This role will interface with business stakeholders to discover and validate data requirements, and technical stakeholders to validate these requirements are feasible and scalable. The Senior Business Analyst will work within the Strategy & Performance team and will collaborate with peers on various phases of project management.
The Amazon AvSec team is responsible for regulatory compliance, security, and loss prevention across Amazon’s aviation operations. The organization has four core pillars: Security Management Systems, Programs, Security Operations, and Credentialing. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
