The Brand Protection Analyst will work at the direction of the Brand Protection Manager to support Brown-Forman’s strategy to fight against counterfeiting and illicit trade (“Brand Protection”). This role represents a unique opportunity to take part in various international projects that aim to detect and combat unlawful activities that undermine legitimate sales, brand reputation, and consumer safety.
What You Can Expect:
Database Management: Maintain a database with all ongoing Brand Protection matters (e.g., investigation, enforcement, legal, training), ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data.
Performance & Reporting: Create and optimize dashboards and other tools to keep track of the progress, performance, and budget of Brand Protection matters; Draft reports highlighting the achievements of Brand Protection efforts.
Online Monitoring: Support internet monitoring efforts by identifying infringing listings on marketplaces, social media, and standalone websites; Participate in meetings with online platforms and online monitoring agencies representatives when required.
Research and Analysis: Analyze data and draft specific project reports to guide investigations; Assist with legal research projects to support Brand Protection strategies.
Investigations and Enforcement: Help update training materials for investigative and enforcement agencies around the world; Participate in meetings to represent Brown-Forman if required.
Business Intelligence: Monitor the latest Brand Protection trends by making a weekly news roundup; Maintain a library of Brand Protection seizures, categorizing and connecting cases based on their similarities; Assist with the creation of guides/manuals to assist in business intelligence gathering.
Internal Coordination: Develop relationships with Brown-Forman stakeholders from different business units worldwide to collaborate on the above.
What You Bring to the Table:
Hold or are currently following a Master’s Degree in law, business, data, or political sciences.
Have an initial understanding of Intellectual Property Law and Brand Protection.
Speak and write fluent English - any additional language is a plus.
What Makes You Unique:
Technologically savvy, including strong command of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel/Sheets, PPT/Slides.
Very organized with excellent attention to detail.
Strong analytical mind and reporting abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
