On a typical day you will:

• Conduct branch audits, accounting control assessments and balance sheet reviews for assigned entities.
• Follow-up and close SOX issue tickets in a timely manner.
• Perform Gap assessment & control testing.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of time.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

• Requires 3-4 years of experience in general accounting and internal control functions.
• Minimum 2-4 experience with SOX controls testing/Auditing.
• Strong understanding of SOX & Auditing Concepts & Principles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Proven analytical and trouble-shooting skills, identify solutions to resolve simple to complex problems.
• Drive innovation as you contribute to improving the overall control environment.

Required qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant, Business Administration or related career with strong knowledge in Accounting & Controls.
• Bilingual (English B2+ & Portuguese) and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong data analysis skills (Power BI, Query etc.).
• JDE Accounting software experience a plus.
