The Position

As a Security Advisor (Manager) at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of the company’s facilities, employees, and supply chain in Brazil, while maintaining compliance with global security standards. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the safety of Novo Nordisk’s office and warehouse, ensure compliance with global security guidelines, conduct regular audits, and maintain updated security systems and documents.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement, manage supply chain security incidents, and supervise third-party security providers, including external vendors and officers.
  • Deploy end-to-end (E2E) security solutions, review third-party sites, monitor for illegitimate supply chain activities, and handle cases with external vendors.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness solutions for employees, provide training sessions, and support key company events with tailored security measures.
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, recommend corrective actions, conduct site security assessments, and ensure compliance with Global Security requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; security certifications are a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with experience in security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in threat intelligence, incident response, and risk assessment and management.
  • Experience with IT systems, networks, operating systems, security technologies, and brand protection will be considered a differential.
  • Data and process-driven mindset are key to the success of the work in the function.
  • Good communication and power to engage with authorities and other external stakeholders when needed are also of great importance to the function.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

About the Department

You will be part of a team that handles general security (facilities and people) and brand protection matters for the Affiliate. We provide proactive high-quality advice and risk assessment, in compliance with Novo Nordisk security policies and requirements, as well as external laws and regulations. As the security champion for the affiliate, you will be the local point of contact with Global Security. The job is based in Brazil, where you will work in a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere.
