The Phenotyping Manager is responsible for the technical and administrative management of field experimentation of multiple crops, and will be responsible of a large team spread over all Brazilian territories where Limagrain Research is present. Responsibilities go from planning to data delivery, including envirotyping, high-throughput phenotyping of traits, and the continuous improvement of the research experimentation. The position serves all corn and soybean breeding programs in Brazil, in addition to other possible demands from global research and business areas. The Phenotyping Manager is accountable for ensuring that experiments are carried out in accordance with the quality, timing, compliance and safety standards defined by Limagrain.

Provide leadership to research initiatives and operational activities for multi-crop breeding field experimentation in Brazil.
Drive and implement envirotyping and high-throughput phenotyping projects.
Lead different regional field-testing teams and all related processes of planning, managing, carrying-out, handling, harvesting, scoring, and uploading data of breeding field trials. Lead and manage all process of Data Quality Control.
Provide innovative solutions and high technical abilities in field experimentation, including related machines, equipment, and tools.
Work to support DEV Team: on-farm trials (strip tests and population experiments).
Potentially support the integration of the on-farm generated data with small-plot (breeding trials) data in a meaningful way.
Prioritize and monitor projects to ensure completion within deadlines and budgets.
Work to support teams building, development and coaching.
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive working environment.
Habilidades: o que esperamos de você
B.Sc. in Agronomy or related fields.
M.Sc. and/or D.Sc./Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics, Agronomy, Crop Science or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in field experimentation, team management and research budget.
Office package and statistics tools.
Advanced/fluent English. Highly desired:
Experience with corn and soybean research trialing.
