The RS Quality Project Manager for Latin American Region will partner with GTE RS Leader and Project Manager(s) on assigned projects to:
As a Quality Management, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring execution and verification of the RS Transactional Compliance Plan (TCP) and RS compliance/certification requirements by all involved functions prior to shipment and transaction closeout within GTE scope.
- Preparing all the data and facilitating discussion during RS project meetings called by Project Managers with all cross-functional stakeholders to drive actions and ensuring 100% RS compliance by time of shipment (RFS).
- Managing retention of the TCP/RS Action Plan (including using RealTrack/RMT tools).
- Maintaining metrics to indicate RS completion status on all assigned projects.
- Providing routine updates to the GTE RS Leader and Project Manager.
- Ensuring corrective action(s) for any RS issues during project execution, providing RS subject matter expertise and partnering with Engineering, Sourcing, etc. for compliant solutions.
- Escalating issues/risks to the GTE RS Leader, GTE Quality Leader, and IET RS Leader, when necessary (per IET RS Risk Management procedure), in a timely fashion to avoid RS non-compliances at time of shipment.
- Communicating lessons learned from the execution of the TCP/RS Action Plan to the GTE RS leader.
- Managing certification on projects as required and ensure that RS compliance deliverables are provided to customers.
- Supporting ITO commercial proposal activities.
- Adhere to, and drive enforcement of, all relevant Baker Hughes and IET policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- May also be assigned to assist with RS process improvements.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have engineering degree or equivalent (relevant regulatory compliance experience will be considered)
- Show minimum 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience
- Have understanding of the principles of applicable Standards and Regulations in Latin American Region (Explosive atmospheres, Pressure Equipment, Machinery Safety, EMC, Reach, …)
- Be familiar with oil and gas equipment and applications
- Language skills: Portuguese and fluent English. Spanish is a plus
