The Regional Sales Manager – Life Science is responsible for leading indirect sales channel through CRM (SFDC) by effective Funnel Management, developing and optimizing sales coverage through selection of indirect sales partners with a continuous improvement mindset and increasing visibility and market share in the region.

This position reports to the Sales Manager Latam – Research and Applied and is part of the Commercial Channel/Indirect Channel located in São Paulo/Capital and will be remote.

In this role, your main responsibilities are to:

  • Lead indirect sales channel through CRM (SFDC) by effective Funnel Management, such as opportunities creation, conversion rates, sales stage, win/loss, market size analysis, and others.
  • Develop and optimize sales coverage through selection of indirect sales partners with a continuous improvement mindset and increasing visibility and market share in the region.
  • Effectiveness in commercial execution, including standard work, daily management, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and action plans to reach sustainable growth in sales and market share in the region. Effectively partner with local and global Leica areas.
  • Forecast Management: Develop, maintain, and improve forecasting models to predict future trends and demands accurately. Ensure forecasts are timely, reliable, and actionable.
  • Prepare and present regular management reports, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities. Ensure all reports are clear, concise, and tailored to the audience's needs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Professional Experience

  • Strong experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Strong experience in leading indirect sales channels.
  • Experience with Life Science Research and desired experience in the microscopy business.
  • Experience with cultural differences and global corporation environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or equivalent.

Language

  • English (intermediate level);
  • Spanish desired (intermediate level).

Travel (required estimated % of time)

  • 65% includes national and international trips.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
