Participate in test planning so that the others in the team can test;
Planning the tests to be carried out for each version of the product;
Carrying out critical tests involving various layers of the solution’s architecture;
Analyzing the resources that will be developed prior to development in order to identify the main points of impact on the architecture of the solution and the product;
Working closely with the development team to clarify faults and map out corrections;
Working closely with the documentation team and the entire QA team to share information about the product and the tests carried out.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Solid experience in manual testing and test automation, including functional, regression, integration and acceptance testing;
Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Robot, Cypress, JUnit, or similar;
Ability to write scripts in languages such as PHP, C, C++, C#, Go, Swift, Python, React, Golang, or other programming languages relevant to test automation;
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar;
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, such as encryption, access control, threat protection (such as SQL Injection, XSS), and compliance with security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR);
Experience with testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and knowledge of security in cloud computing environments;
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git;
Knowledge of test management tools, such as JIRA, TestRail, Cucumber, or similar;
Previous experience:
Experience in the QA area, with at least 1 year focused on cybersecurity projects or related areas;
Experience working in agile teams and with agile development methodologies;
Practical experience in cybersecurity projects is a significant plus;
Experience in UAT testing;
Intermediate English.
Certifications (desirable):
QA certifications: certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester).
Differentials:
Practical experience with tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, K6, Postman, Newman, Katalon;
Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+, or other certifications related to information security;
Familiarity with security testing practices, such as penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and security-focused load testing;
CTFL certification: Agile Tester;
Advanced English will be a plus.
