What you’ll do:

1. Develop and execute a category strategic plan that leverages opportunities and promotes complexity reduction, simplification, modularization, cost performance, and innovation;
2. Ensure category strategies align with business requirements;
3. Strengthen partnerships across teams and internal stakeholders;
4. Cultivate solid and sustainable relationships with suppliers;
5. Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity;
6. Develop annual budgets and long-term strategic plans;
7. Drive the execution of purchasing Value-Based Sourcing strategy with focus on Innovation, Risk management, Supplier Relationship management, Supplier early involvement, 360 Long Term Agreement;
8. Manage sourcing actions to support the smooth and timely implementation of project (with or without of supplier early involvement (“SEA”) phase);
9. Utilize data research and analytics for informed choices.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

You have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or a related field (Master's is a plus);
2. Experience in progressive strategic sourcing, category management, or equivalent;
3. Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application, in particular of direct material categories;
4. Ability to work with key stakeholders in global locations and at various levels;
5. Experience of managing and delivering cost reductions/value creation;
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
7. Availability for travel;
8. Advanced/Fluent English.
